How Study Time works

A simple loop: plan subjects, run focused sessions, review what you actually did.

  1. Create your subjects

Add the courses or skills you study — each with its own color and history. Separating subjects makes weekly reviews honest: you see which topics get time and which get postponed.

  2. Start a focused session

Pick a subject, start the timer, and work. Pause if you step away; stop when you finish. Only one timer runs at a time so your totals stay accurate for reports and daily goals.

  3. Hit a daily goal

Set a realistic daily study target. Progress updates as you complete sessions, so you can decide mid-day whether to add another block or protect rest time.

  4. Review and adjust

Use statistics and reports to spot patterns across days, weeks, and subjects. Pair that with tasks for homework due dates so planned work and tracked time stay aligned.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about Study Time for web and mobile.

Is Study Time free?

Yes. You can create an account, track sessions, set goals, manage tasks, and view reports on the web app and mobile apps without a paid plan.

Do my sessions sync between phone and browser?

Yes. Sign in with the same account on the web app and on iOS or Android. Subjects, sessions, settings, and tasks stay on your account.

Can I track more than one subject?

You can create as many subjects as you need. Only one study timer runs at a time so each session is attributed to a single subject for clear reports.

What happens if I reset a running timer?

Reset cancels the open session. That time is not saved to history, which keeps your statistics from counting abandoned or accidental timers.

How do tasks relate to the timer?

Tasks help you plan homework and due dates by subject. Timers record focused study time. Use both together: pick today’s task, start a timer on that subject, then check the task off when done.
